Heavens Calling Video

I made this song and video because I wanted to show you could make a hard song with a positive message.

I think there is a lot of craziness going on in the world right now and it is a sign from a higher power above. It is a sign to re evaluate ourselves and our lifestyles and pay attention to the more positive things in life that are better for our well being. It’s also time for us to unite in love. During this pandemic I’ve realized how important family time and appreciating what we already have is. I’ve realized I spent a lot of time partying and living leisurely when I should’ve been working ten times harder. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always had a great work ethic, but this pandemic having nothing to do BUT focus on my dreams and the future has really awoken me to a lot. In my hook of my song I say “deep inside that water, just keep moving forward, blessings keep calling, it’s right around the corner.” I’m talking about being deep in that water meaning the struggle of life, but blessings keep coming my way because I keep moving forward even through the struggle. I think everyone needs to hear this message. We all struggle, but it’s those who move forward in positive directions that truly thrive in life. Yes evil thrives too, but the good guy always wins in the end. I filmed the first scene of this music video outside of a church I grew up going to with my nanny who basically raised me. Sadly she passed away when I was 9 so I know she would be looking down from above and love the fact I filmed at that church and made a song with this positive message. I filmed the second scene at the Hollywood bowl cross that sits upon a mountain not many people know how to hike up to. My mom happened to live in an apartment building near there where they have the only possible private hiking trail that leads up to the cross. It was pretty much fate. So we hiked up there for the cross scene, Which wasn’t easy. My glam team was def struggling lol but they are soldiers and hiked it out for me. The tunnel scene we filmed near my house in Hollywood, and the chapel and angel wings moments were filmed at a dope mansion near by as well. My boys Daniel Anvari and Ghost Productions helped my boy Pat Clark shoot half the video and Pat shot half and edited the whole masterpiece together. It was a huge collaborative effort to get a video done during a pandemic. If you haven’t seen the video yet check it out below!
